The Language Across Modalities (LingAMod) Discussion Group offers a space for University of Michigan students, faculty, and outside community members to explore research across the many modes of human communication—speech, sign, gesture, and beyond. Our meetings include discussions of research articles, conversations on timely, relevant topics, and informal presentations of ongoing lab work. All sessions provide automated Zoom captioning and ASL–English interpreting.
